What Friends for Life is
Friends for Life is a journal for two friends. One question a day, answered blind, revealed together. It is made by Shaw and Partners and runs at friendsforlife.app. Using it means you agree to these terms.
-
Who can use it
You must be at least 16 to use Friends for Life. You need a real email address that reaches you, because the daily question and the reveal come by mail.
-
A pair is two people
You create a pair and send the private link to one friend. Whoever opens that link joins as the other half of the pair. Keep the link private: anyone who has it can answer as your friend until she has joined.
-
Your answers
Your answers stay yours. We show them to one person only: the friend in your pair, and only after you have both sealed the day. We never post them anywhere, never sell them, never use them to train anything.
-
Be decent
The community pages (the poll and the threads) are shared with other pairs. No harassment, no threats, no sharing another person's private words or details. We remove what breaks this and may close the account that posted it.
-
Paying
A new pair plays the daily question and the monthly games free for its first seven days. From day eight they cost $1.29 a month (a pair made before 30 September 2026 keeps its two free days), and the course is a one-time $27. One friend pays and both play. Payments go through Stripe. The monthly renews every month until you stop it. Stop it any time from settings (manage billing): it runs to the end of the month you already paid for, then stops. We do not refund a month or a course already started, except where the law says we must.
-
Leaving
You can leave a pair, or delete your whole account, from settings. Your friend keeps her own answers. Your side is wiped as described in the privacy policy.
-
What we promise, and what we do not
We work to keep the app up and your words safe, but we cannot promise it will never go down or that a question will never land late. The app is offered as it is. We are not liable for anything beyond what you paid us in the last twelve months, where the law allows that limit.
-
Changes
If these terms change in a way that matters, we will say so on this page and by email before the change applies. Keeping on using the app after that means you accept the new terms.
-
Law and contact
These terms follow the law of Poland. Questions, complaints and anything else go to [email protected].
